This happens once every few months (so certainly not a real issue) and I'm not sure if it's a problem with this TV model, or just the one I purchased. Turning the TV off and back on takes care of this. This also only happens when using the HDMI input (as far as I've experienced). Bought this as a second TV for the house, and it's done the job quite nicely. The picture is crisp, sound is plenty loud for the small room it is in, and it looks nice and sleek. The only issue I've had is that every once in a while, the TV will start to fade to white and then stay all white.
We didn't need anything crazy and this offered a good value, good picture, very decent sound - so everything we wanted. This TV was Pretty much exactly what we were looking for for our master bedroom. We got rid of the box tv and went with this flatscreen.
the remote glows in the dark but big deal. the picture is just okay. its pretty sweet to play Fallout 3 on PS3 but other than that this TV breaks down easily and lucky for me that happened within 6 months. I'm not a big fan of this TV maybe because mine was a lemon. I lost it to the repair shack for about a month because all the buttons on the side stopped working and I wasn't getting any picture.
no more toshiba's for me. Nice picture but I had this tv for 6 months and it's now in the repair shop. just a heads up guys, check out consumer reports.matt detroit, mich. check out samsung and panasonic instead. cost to me: $225.00. bought it for $450 out the door and now I'm in for $700.
Could not ask for more. Can be used with their games systems, computre, DVD and as a television. Product is exactly as advertised, arrived sooner than anticipated and was in A1 condition. Toshiba seems to make a great product - the perfect TV for the kids in their play room.
